LaunchBox was originally built as an attractive frontend to DOSBox, but has since expanded to support both modern PC games and emulated console platforms. LaunchBox aims to be the one-stop shop for gaming on your computer, for both modern and historical games.
LaunchBox includes automated import processes for your MS-DOS games, ROM files, and Steam in order to help get you up and running as quickly as possible. Game box-art and metadata is automatically downloaded from the LaunchBox Games Database, a community-based online database that allows anyone to contribute. Wikipedia can also be used.
The idea behind this new project (OSboxes) is to provide ready to use Unix/Linux virtual machines, so anyone can easily download and use it regardless of host OS, there are some reasons that other OS users may want to try Linux before they migrate to it, some users simply don’t want to dual boot their system or they have some kind of hardware issue (like locked BIOS and so on), and some people (like me) use Linux but also work on other distributions at the same time.
The new EVE-NG platform is ready for todays requirements. It allows enterprises, e-learning providers/centres, individuals and group collaborators to create virtual proof of concepts, solutions and training environments.
EVE-NG is the first clientless multivendor network emulation software that empowers network and security professionals with huge opportunities in the networking world.

Disk2vhd is a utility that creates VHD (Virtual Hard Disk - Microsoft's Virtual Machine disk format) versions of physical disks for use in Microsoft Virtual PC or Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines (VMs). The difference between Disk2vhd and other physical-to-virtual tools is that you can run Disk2vhd on a system that’s online. Disk2vhd uses Windows' Volume Snapshot capability, introduced in Windows XP, to create consistent point-in-time snapshots of the volumes you want to include in a conversion. You can even have Disk2vhd create the VHDs on local volumes, even ones being converted (though performance is better when the VHD is on a disk different than ones being converted).
